Hey MTV, welcome to my crib!
I'm Leah, currently the assistant art director at Free People in the photo studio. I graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Integrated Design and have been working in graphic design, creative production, and art direction ever since.
Through school, personal projects, and professional work, I have developed skills in fine arts, digital design and graphics. Applying this to the world of digital media, I did art direction, brand concept, and graphic design with Girls Gotta Eat Podcast. In addition, I worked in the photo studio for Fleur du Mal, learning pre-production, e-comm graphics, and studio skills, with the most amazing creative people. Here, I found a pull to the studio and working with a team to create a story through multiple elements of creative work.
And currently, I am an art director for the Free People photo studio. I have most recently been directing hair and makeup for all photo sets, both daily and editorial. Overseeing H&MU lead me into directing accessories sets and on-model beauty sets.
